About Me

I’m a passionate leader in Earth observation, sustainability, and social impact on a mission to bring advanced geospatial and AI technology to those who need it the most.

From mapping vulnerable coastal communities to harnessing satellite data for tropical forest biodiversity conservation, I have always positioned myself at the forefront where emerging geospatial technology meets urgent environmental and societal challenges.

My journey began with a simple realization: environmental protection at planetary scale could be amplified through geospatial technology. We live in an era of overwhelming data about Earth’s changing systems, yet most organizations struggle to harness that intelligence for environmental resilience. That gap became my life’s work.

Throughout my 15+ year career, I’ve been the person who sees the “forest through the trees”, identifying what’s technically possible versus what’s actually needed on the ground, then creating the bridges to close that divide. With a natural ability to translate between worlds, I’m fluent in the languages of satellite pixels and policy frameworks, technical specifications and stakeholder needs, global trends and local impacts, connecting transformative geospatial capabilities to planetary systems-level change.

I don’t just understand how to analyze Earth’s data—I orchestrate the cross-sector collaborations needed to turn that data into action.

I thrive at the frontier where the path is not yet defined. From launching Planet’s first nonprofit program to developing NOAA’s mapping guide for open space preservation to designing the first binational climate vulnerability index for the US-Mexico border, my superpower lies in seeing opportunities where others see obstacles. I work across an organization to identify what’s missing and build the infrastructure that turns cutting-edge geospatial capabilities into essential tools that protect both our planet and communities.
